Claire Lockhart is a writer, producer, and film historian. As a film programmer at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, she produced live events and filmmaker panels in the Academy’s 1,000-seat Samuel Goldwyn Theater, as well as virtual programs for the Academy’s social media platforms. Most recently, she wrote and produced, with Jonathan Ingalls, the feature documentary The Last Soufflé, which won the Best Documentary award at the 2026 Reel Independent Film Festival in Los Angeles. Claire lives in Virginia with her husband, film historian David Pierce.
